Some friends of mine are avid amateur photographers and for the past several years, they have done photo challenges that I’ve always enjoyed following.
2010 was an ABC challenge - one photo a week, finding a letter of the alphabet in your environment.
2011 was a color challenge - they picked out 52 colors from a box of Crayolas and found those colors in the world around them.
2012 is a monthly challenge (more my style) and since I have an upgraded camera now (thanks hubby), I thought I’d participate. Here goes, from Cyrena’s blog:
This year’s subject is reflections, but in order to have a similar theme in all of our work, we have a primary structure/object that the reflection should appear in each month.
January: Building
February: Mirror
March: Water
April: Beverage
May: Glasses (Eyeglasses, drinking glasses, etc)
June: Object (silverware, etc)
July: Statue
August: Vehicle
September: Window
October: Furniture
November: Monitor/TV
December: Holiday Item
